Beverly Ann (Jerri) Collie

Beverly Ann (Jerri) Pyle was born in Eufaula, Oklahoma on January 1, 1929 to Luther Alden and Margaret Catherine (Turner) Pyle. She departed this life on November 6, 2019 in Eufaula, OK while surrounded by family. She was the last of 4 children to leave this earth. She was married to Oral Lee Collie in 1949, and they were married for 37 years until his death in 1986. They lived their life in Eufaula, OK, where they raised five daughters. Jerri graduated from Eufaula High School in 1946. While in high school, she participated in the band as a drummer. She attended Christian College in Columbia, MO and also the University of Oklahoma where she pledged Gamma Phi Beta. Jerri retired from Shelter Insurance as an insurance agent. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church and in recent years a member of Lake Eufaula Christian Church, both in Eufaula. Jerri is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann Collie, of Eufaula; her daughter, Beverly Myers, and her husband James (Boone) of Tulsa, OK; her daughter, Kim McLain, and her husband Woody of Trophy Club, TX; her daughter Julie Huff and husband Terry of Eufaula, OK and daughter Christy Helms and her husband Stacey of Eufaula, OK. Grandchildren Joe McLain and his wife Jannell of Louisville, KY; Natalie Williams and husband Tommy of Tulsa, OK; Ryan Myers and wife Alejandra of Lewisville, TX; Zachary Huff and wife Elisha of Guthrie, OK; Brooke Helms of Edgecliff Village, TX; Paden Huff and wife Jessie of Guthrie, OK; Matt Helms of Fort Smith, AR; Nathan Huff and wife Melissa of Guthrie, OK; Thomas McLain III and wife Shay of Broken Arrow, OK; Susan Kirkland and husband Michael of Memphis, TN; Michael McLain and wife Nicole of Aubrey, TX; Richard McLain and wife Starr of Huntsville, AL; Greatgrandchildren Owen, Abigail and Harper Williams of Tulsa, OK; Sawyer, Ivy, Anniston and Laila Huff of Guthrie, OK; Olivia Myers of Lewisville, TX; Colin, Ian and Cowan McLain of Broken Arrow, OK; Colby Powell, Christopher and Mason Kirkland of Memphis, TN; Malia, Irelyn and Michael McLain of Aubrey, TX; Beattie, Thomas, Daniel and Dean McLain of Huntsville, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oral Lee Collie, parents, Luther and Margaret Pyle, brothers Richard (Dick) and Kirk Pyle, and sister Mary Margaret Carey.
