Betty Nadine Bumgarner

Betty Nadine Bumgarner, 79, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee. Betty was born on January 3, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Preston and Margie (Phillips) Doyle. She graduated from Eufaula High School in 1962 and was a lifelong resident of Eufaula. On August 11, 1966, Betty married Gene Bumgarner at the United Pentecostal Church of Eufaula. She worked for over twenty years at both Arrowhead and the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home.

Survivors include: her son, Kenny Bumgarner and wife Rashelle of Eufaula; daughter, Julia Bumgarner of Eufaula; sister Paullette Hays; ten grandchildren, Malaicha Williams and husband Jay, Kyle Bumgarner, Ashlea Bumgarner and husband Clarence, Airiana Perez and husband Jose, Sierra Bumgarner, Kaden Bumgarner, Chenoa Bumgarner, Johna Bumgarner, Chase Bumgarner and Trinity Bumgarner; five great grandchildren, Mya Conard, Marlee Conard, Maddox Gutierrez, Josilynn Perez and Beckham Perez; nieces, Jackie Robinson of Eufaula and Karen Jackson and husband Jason of Eufaula. She is preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Margie Doyle, husband Gene Bumgarner, brothers Jerry Doyle and Eugene Doyle and sister, Karen Lane.

Visitation will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The family will greet friends from 4 - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the funeral home. The family will hold a celebration of life service for Betty at their home.
